Insecurity: President Buhari Should Improve The Welfare Of Security Personnels
An appeal has been made to the president of Nigeria, Gen. Buhari to improve the welfare of security personnel in the country.
Speaking in a different interview with stakeholders in Ibadan during the 40th days Fidau prayer for the late Olubadan of Ibadan Oba Adetunji, respondent were of the view that the federal government need to improve the welfare of security agencies which will motivate them to oblige to their constitutional responsibility of ensuring a safe and secured environment.
The state of insecurity in the society is so devastating to the extent that kidnapping and ritual killings has become the order of the day as the people can no longer sleep with their two eyes closed and this has adversely affected trade relations as businesses cannot flourish in an unsecured environment.
Gen. Buhari was urged to improve the welfare of security personnel in the country as they will be able to do the needful and curb the menace of insecurity in the country.
It was gathered that the security agencies need to improve in the area of intelligence gathering and further strategies towards providing 21st century security architecture that will enhance a safe and secured environment.
